gideon tossed and turned in her sleep. it had been all of three years since her parents death, and it still haunted her every waking moment of the day. she couldn't escape the thoughts, whether she was conscious or unconscious. many times she believed that that was just how everything was supposed to go. on more occasion than one she had been told that every thing happens for a reason. whether that reason was good or bad, she'd never really been told. her uncle had brutally murdered her parents, right in her sight. first her mother, then went her father. she could remember their blood splattered across the floor, and her sister holding onto her for dear life. the night repeated itself in her mind whenever she had nothing else to think about, and tonight.. no good dream graced her mind, though she wasn't dreaming about her parents. oh no, she was dreaming about her uncle eagerly tracking them down to destroy the rest of the family. honestly, gideon was more afraid of him coming and killing her sister than she was afraid of him killing her. she would rather be killed first, if this ever became reality, though that wasn't the way she imagined it. her sister always died first in her mind, not because she disliked her sister, but because she couldn't help but imagine the worst in her night mares. of course it could never be to the point where she just died and got to sleep peacefully. god, obviously, didn't want that.
today, was no different than any other day. she was huddled up in the corner like she had been the day of her parents death, only this time, her sister wasn't there to cover her eyes. she could hear and see everything that was happening. her uncle had her sister tightly a knife slowly sliding down her body. it made her shudder and cry, tears were streaming down her face in her dream and in real life. she was too shaken to even move. her sister was slowly bleeding to death. she wanted to scream and attack him, but she didn't want to die. not just yet. she was only seventeen, it couldn't be her time, yet...right? probably not, but whatever the case was, she watched her uncle tear and rip at emaroza's hair, practically dangling her in front of her face. she hated this; she hated him. gideon had never actually hated a person until her uncle had done that, and she still hated him and only him. she'd never had a real enemy and she didn't plan on making a bunch of them. after a few more moments of torture, her sisters throat was sliced open. a mew of pain left her lips, not because she was hurt, but because she had just lost her sister. the twenty year old was laying in a pool of her own blood, jerking and coughing. she wanted to run to her, but her uncle was making his way to her, mumbling something about her happiness coming to an end.
she was more pressed into the wall than she had been just moments ago. before she could even understand completely what was happening, his hand was around her throat. "you get to go quick and easy." the words were mumbled. his grip was so tight she could see black and white dots. she could feel his fingers pressing into her muscles and as soon as her dream self was about to pass out, she jerked awake. her breath was coming in short gasps, a hand on her neck. she could feel his fingers pressing against the sides of her neck, though she could breathe. she wanted to cry, or jump of a bridge. crying seemed more logical to her. tears flooded her eyes and seeped down her cheeks as shaky hands reached up to wipe them vigorously as her alarm clock went off. she quickly hit the dismiss button. the sun was just going down. she wasn't really having a full nights sleep, just a timed nap after her mid-day show. now she needed to get dressed and go see her boyfriend, but not like this, that much she knew. she looked horrible, she could feel it. her hair was messed up and her clothes were dirty. the only thing about it, was that she was slightly terrified of seeing her boyfriend. not even that, she was afraid that he would've done drugs before she got there, and things would get ugly. she didn't want that to happen.. in fact, she hated it.
quietly, the girl rushed around her bus, pulling a new shirt over her head, her shorts staying tight on her waist. they weren't so bad, but her shirt was slightly sweat covered. as she finished changing her shirt she grabbed her brush, running it through her hair a few times, the knots brushed out of it easily. she was rushing, like she always was when going to see her boyfriend. she loved him, she really did. he was the only person she had ever loved this much that wasn't related to her. she just didn't understand how someone she loved so much could hurt her. whatever the case, she wasn't about to leave him any time soon. slipping her shoes on, she started out of the door of her bus, hurrying to his. gideon was honestly excited to see demetrius. she walked past many people, staring at the ground and only waving when someone waved to her first. it was around eight o'clock in the evening now, not that it mattered. everyone was done with their shows for the night and most everyone was out doing their own thing or chilling in their bus. the teenager looked up at the bus in front of her. it was intergalactic confederacy's.. she bit her lip gently and knocked on the door lightly before opening it slowly and making her way up the stairs.

Our little train wreck Demetrius had a busy day today. What exactly did the six foot four drummer do to make this day so busy? He started his day by waking up at ten o'clock and taking a nice hot shower. The hot water always made him feel awake and that's the only place he had time to think logically. The first thought that popped into his mind was how bad he wanted to snort cocaine. He couldn't wait to feel the rush and adrenaline that he obtained from the white powder substance. This addiction had been with him for a little bit more then six months. He first did it with a couple of his best friend's older sister and then began doing it all by himself. Now, every little dollar he gets he has to spend it on cocaine. What's his reason for actually trying a drug like this? Well, like most drug users they blame their past.
Demetrius was taken away from his parents when he was four years old. He came from a broken home. This boy really wasn't a LA native. His mother was a stripper who did anything she could for cash. She was always trying to support her family to make up for the fact that Demetrius father left her when he was born. She tried everything in her will power to help him have a great life. Poor old Adreena, regretted not obeying her father and marrying a greek man. Instead she dropped out of high school, got pregnant at eighteen, and got to where she was now. She loved Demetrius, and he loved her no matter what. Despite the fact that she always brought random men home, slept with them and Demetrius never saw them again. When he got older, he caught on and discovered what his mother was doing. Anyways, one day she tried to prostitute herself to an undercover cop. Of course you know how that went. Demetrius got taken away from her and she got arrested. He loved his mother, he really did. The poor boy cried every night for about two months straight. He stayed in an orphanage for a year. That was till a couple who couldn't have children decided to go adopt one instead of keep trying. The second they saw Demetri, they fell in love with him. He was incredibly shy and adorable. He was perfect in their eyes. When got to speak to him, they really enjoyed it once they got him out of his shell. This couple's name was Raylynn and Elliot Andrews. They had a cute studio apartment in New York City. They only lived there for a week before Elliot got a new job in LA, and they decided to move there.
Just like Gideon, he couldn't get his mother's face out of his head. Her long curly black hair, gorgeous face and tanned skin. Of course Demetrius was the exact opposite. When he was younger his mother used to tell him that his father was killed when he was about three months old. She'd always tell him that Demetrius looked just like his father. Same red hair, blue eyes and soft lips. He loved hearing these false stories about his father. Of course he learned the truth later on by his adopted parents. Ever since then he's been trying to locate his father and figure out what prison his mother is at. He felt horrible learning that his mother was doing dirty deeds just to help him lead a happy life. Of course when he stumbled on these thoughts he'd just break down and cry. With the cocaine he never felt better.
He acted like a different person though. He treated Gideon like his father treated his mother. Demetrius just had so much rage and aggression when he snorted those little white lines. He felt like a hundred bucks, but he sure as hell didn't act it. He'd get incredibly cocky as well as aggressive. That's right, he beat the shit out of Gideon every time she provoked him. These provoking actions could simply be telling him to turn the lights off. Every little thing pissed him off. Of course he didn't want to hit her, but it wasn't him doing the actions of horror. It was all the lines of cocaine he quickly snorted before spending time with his ever so lovely girlfriend. He always wondered after the fact why she still stayed with him. Of course when he sobered up, he'd apologize briefly and then panic. He'd help her cover it up, and tell her he loves her and didn't mean too. He meant his words, but if he REALLY meant them he'd stop doing this disgusting habit.
He could remember the good six months he had with Gideon before doing cocaine. Really, with her he didn't need any drugs. But, some how he still felt the need to do it. He tried to have his cake and eat it too. Though, really he was kind of pressured into it. His friend Max's sister told him how it would help him forget his past and let go of his depression. He didn't know that it only helped temporarily and the fact that it would change his entire personality. He used to be so sweet and caring. Now, he was just incredibly agitated and hyper. This is besides the fact, this is what the boy did.
After showering, he had to play a six song set list at three o clock. He didn't show up at practice because he had to go find a coke dealer in the area. Of course after forty five minutes of calling old hook ups, he found a new dealer in this area. He paid ninty bucks for two little baggies. He really wasn't so concerned about the price, but the quality. Demetrius knew that paying more money meant a better high. After playing and hanging out with his band he found some time to snort three lines at about six o clock. Each line lasted about thirty minutes and that brings us to about seven thirty. He kept the rest in the bag, and hid the other bag in a stuffed animal his little sister sent to him. She made it at build a bear. Of course they weren't real siblings but he treated her like she was blood just like he did to his adoptive parents. He always tried to see her whenever he had time open. He then began to clean all the blood off the sink in the bathroom. His nose was bleeding from the large amount of cocaine he inhaled and when he came down from his high he scrubbed that bathroom clean.
Demetrius was now just chilling on his couch till he heard a knock on the tour bus door. It was probably one of the girls trying to sleep with him that he encountered today. They just didn't understand that he had a girlfriend and that he wouldn't even think about touching them till they lost their acne and obtained some boobs. Stupid fifteen year old sluts. He let out a groan as he got up from the couch with try blood still on his face. He walked closer to the door till he was standing in front of Gideon. "Oh hey," Demetri said as he glanced at her. Something wasn't right. Normally she texted him when she needed him. "What brings you here, lovely?"

now, gideon had been through more than most people gave her credit for. she had seen and lived through a lot of shit that most people would never even know about. just thinking about it made her hands tremble, her eyes swell with tears, and her knees shake. she didn't understand how someone could do that to their family; their kin. she knew that ema would never do anything like that to her, and she would never do that to ema. that was wrong. even if she hated roza when she got older, even if roza hurt her.. she could never do something like that. it was a sin. it was so horrible she couldn't even fathom doing that to a stranger, let alone her own family. the seventeen year old knew that her fathers family had had problems, but never had she imagined they were that horrible. gideon had never thought that her uncle could hate her father so much that he would kill him so brutally, and in front of his two daughters. it was insane. the thought made her stomach queasy and her head throb. was that just the russian way? she didn't think so, at least.. that wasn't what she had been taught. around the united states, that was a big stereo type. either russians were snobby, or they were violent, though gideon was neither. she couldn't say the same for her sister, but she was nowhere near either of those describing words. being like that would make her sick of her own self, she couldn't even imagine herself being like that.
after everything she'd been through in her life, she didn't expect other people to really understand. that, of course, was why she never told anyone. she didn't tell her best friends, and she didn't tell her boyfriend. what exactly had happened? it's a long story, honestly. she had had a close to perfect life in russia. she had a mother, father, and an older sister who looked after her and loved her. her brothers father, of course, hadn't been too excited about the fact that her father was enjoying his life and he wasn't. apparently, her dad had been in the limelight their whole lives. excelling in school, bringing home respectable girls, and had a good paying job. she couldn't imagine hating someone for those reasons, but men were different than women, and most women were different than she was. basically, what had happened is simple to explain. her uncle had broken into her home one day not long after everyone had already gone to bed and basically took them all into one room. while gideon and emaroza huddled in the corner together, scared, as most teenagers would be, their uncle slowly and brutally killed their parents in plain sight. shutting their eyes didn't drown out the screaming and cries of their parents. it didn't keep them from hearing their father beg for his life and his families life, and it didn't stop their uncle from doing the horrible things he did. it didn't clean the blood up off the floor, and it didn't prevent their uncle from promising to find them and kill them, as well.
before the incident, gideon had been slightly more outgoing than she was, and she was nowhere near as paranoid. many people now described gideon as a quiet, down to earth girl who never spoke a word in defiance. she didn't like talking out of turn or to people she didn't know, which took a lot when she was having to meet fans and stuff. she didn't understand why people made such a big deal about people in bands, but she wasn't about to complain. this was what made her money and what fueled her life. this was her only joy left in life besides her boyfriend, and as much as it went against her personality, she loved being onstage. she was a whole different person. she smiled more and spoke to the crowd, it was like she exchanged her personality for someone else's. she didn't understand it entirely, but she really did try hard to be someone that people looked up to. of course, if they knew what happened behind closed doors, they would understand that she wasn't much of a role model. if her sister found out about demetrius, the shit would definitely hit the fan. honestly, she couldn't care less if he beat the shit out of her. she could handle the bruises and cuts, but she didn't think she could stand to be away from him for too long, which was why she was glad they were on the same tour. she would've given anything to just be next to him, and she didn't think she could go the two months without him and be happy with her life, even if roza was there. she didn't like the thought of being in her home town with nobody to cuddle when she actually needed it.
she was snapped out of her own thoughts as she looked up at her boyfriend. she ignored the dried blood on his face and wrapped her arms around him tightly. she didn't understand why she had missed him so much, but she really had. maybe it was the bad dream, or maybe it was just because she had been thinking about their relationship, but either way she just wanted to curl up in his arms and be together. she would even settle for sitting in complete silence. "i just.. missed you." her voice was naturally soft. she couldn't really imagine being any louder than she already was. "i wanted to surprise you with a hug." she said with a gentle smile as she slowly let go of him. "and i wanted to spend time with you." the teenager kept looking at the blood on his face.. she couldn't help but think about what had caused it. it wasn't that she was wondering what had caused it, because she already knew. she already knew that he had been doing his drugs, and she already knew that they more often than not came before she did on his to-do list. sometimes, it saddened her, other times, she wondered why, but she more often than not, kept those thoughts to herself. usually, if she brought up something like that, he got irritated and aggressive, which was the part of him she really didn't enjoy. silently, her laid against his chest, just for a second before she closed her eyes and let herself separate from him. she wished she could spend every second with him, but knew that she couldn't.
quietly, she looked up at him again. she knew asking about the nose bleed wasn't the best idea in the world, but she felt the need. just to make sure he hadn't gotten in a fight or something, not that she really believed that. she just wanted to make sure. "you.. have a bloody nose." she pointed out quietly, pausing for a second to let that seep in. "are you okay? were you, uh.." her voice trailed off. she didn't want to finish her own sentence but instead she just took his hand in hers and stared at the floor of the bus. she really didn't think she wanted to hear the answer to that one.

Since Demetrius was sixteen, he's been searching for his real mother. Adreena Kakos, so far no luck. He knew she had to be locked up for some time. After all first offenses go to jail for 45 days, but the worst part was that she was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. His foster parents really didn't want him finding out who she was or what she was doing now and they definitely shot down his ambitions of finding his father when he was fourteen. The orphanage had informed them on everything in his parent's records. They discovered how his father left his mother and before hand they were in a very abusive relationship. Demetri swore up and down he'd never hit a lady but here we go. Here he is doing it and completely going against all the morals. All because of a little white drug called cocaine.
He smiled when she hugged him and he put his long arms around her. The kid was a giant compared to his little petite girlfriend. He was six foot four and he weighted about one hundred fifty six pounds. He was skinny and frail. Let's not forget the color of skin was incredibly white which was incredibly odd considering the fact that his mother was one hundred percent greek. Though he knew as the tour progressed and him being in the sun more that he would end up being the tannest one on the entire tour. Demetrius was really proud of his Greek heritage and his name but, really no one could even guess he was Greek. He looked more like his extremely Irish father. Most people wouldn't even guess the kid was Greek until he said his entire name. Kakos was obviously the most Greek last name a person could ever come across. Most people didn't even know to pronounce it the right way. Oh well though.
It really felt good to hear her say that she missed him. He continued to smile as he stared down at her. Gosh, she was so gorgeous. She was about ten times more frail then he was, and he was almost sure that he was a foot taller or so. Demetrius also found her eyes to be the most beautiful thing about her. They were large and it kind of looked like someone squeezed her a bit too much when she was a baby. Oh, it just added right to the cuteness factor. He honestly could say that his girlfriend was beautiful and mean it. His other girlfriends were incredibly trashy and disgusting. The one girl Victoria that he dated, wore too much make up and when she took it all off, she wasn't that attractive. Gideon could wear absolutely no make up and still be gorgeous. He knew she was a natural beauty. But a year ago he didn't fall in love her because of her looks. It was way beyond that. It was before the drugs and the violence.
He fell in love with her because her personality out shined everything else. Her personality illuminated his life and made him so happy. She really could make him laugh without even trying, her quirks is what made Demetrius so attracted to her. She had the innocence that he had never seen in another girl. He might be four years older then her but, this innocence wasn't in a creepy kind of way. She was just so shy and cute. Demetrius was used to girls trying to sleep with him, which he always denied the offers. This kids biggest fear was getting STD's. So there had to be a long time connection before he ever thought about sleeping with anyone. He trusted her quickly, except he never mentioned anything to her about his past. It was way to early for that. He knew everyone had skelatons in their closet, but this was a little different. He never really told anyone but his birth parents but his seventeen year old adopted sister. He had three little sisters who were all adopted at separate times. His youngest adopted sister is five years old, the other one is ten and of course the one on the tour with him is is seventeen like stated above. Haha. "I want to spend time with you too." Though sometimes he tried avoiding her just to stop himself from harming her. He couldn't believe how many times she took him back. Demetrius physically hurt her yet it didn't really matter to her. Of course when he sobered out he apologized like hell. Most of the time he even cried about it too. He never meant to her, but he just keeps on doing it.
Oh, how he loved her but sometimes she just really pissed him off. Of course it wasn't her fault or really his. Though I've stated this plenty of times as well. Of course when she brought up the dried blood on his face he let out a really pissed off sigh. "No. Why is it always about the drugs? You think every fucking day that I'm snorting cocaine! You know how hard I'm trying to quit. Yet each day you keep on accusing me. I accidentally got hit in the face with a ball that my sister and I were throwing around." Demetrius had such anger in his voice and of course it was raised. He was a little pissed off, well actually he was really pissed off. He even resorted to lying to her. Everyone knew he was trying to quit. Demetri also fought with his sister most of the time because she'd bring it up. "Can't you just start a normal conversation without bringing up my flaws? I hardly ever bring up yours but your a constant fucking reminder of me." It wasn't even five minutes and he started yelling at her. Once again he released a sigh, refraining himself from flipping out. He was such a moody little prick. "Ugh, I'm sorry but I hate how you keep bringing it up." In reality she hardly ever brought it up. The kid was a nut.

honestly, gideon loved hugging demetrius. he was the one person besides emaroza that she trusted enough to hug or be around all alone. she was actually really paranoid about that sort of thing. she didn't like being around people she didn't know very well. she had had a hard time going out with demetrius at the beginning of their relationship considering she really didn't like going out into the public at all, and he was huge. or maybe she was just small? she wasn't quite sure, but she was only five feet and ninety five or so pounds. he had to be almost a foot and a half taller than her and some fifty pounds heavier than her, but that was just guestimating. when it came down to pure facts, he could snap her like a twig. gideon wasn't sure if he knew that, but it scared her, sometimes. she was tiny compared to him. she was fragile, breakable, and she knew it. a lot of the time, she wished she could've been bigger. maybe then it wouldn't hurt as bad when he hit her. maybe, she would even have the guts to hit him back if she had a little bit more force to use.. but when it came down to it, no matter how much she wished she could be bigger, she couldn't. no matter how much she wished it didn't hurt as bad as it did, it still hurt that bad. and no matter how much she wished she had the courage and strength to hit him back, or even just leave him, she could never bring herself to do it.
so, when his large arms wrapped around her she couldn't help but smile. sometimes, it didn't seem like it was a very common feeling for her, being hugged by her boyfriend. it was refreshing to be hugged instead of hit. she loved him from the bottom of her heart, she really did, but she hated the things he did. sure, he'd been trying to quit doing drugs and such, but it was obviously not working. he needed something to wake him up. he needed to see how he acted and how drugs really weren't going to help him get anywhere. it was like they were going backwards in their relationship rather than forwards because she was always hurt and he was always fucked up, whether he thought she realized it or not. most of the time, she didn't bring it up, knowing that her day was probably going to be better if she just left it alone. she trusted him enough to stop doing it, but lately.. it just didn't seem like it was working out for him as well as he hoped it was. maybe if she just left it alone completely... it would get better. yeah, that's what she'd been telling herself for months, now.. it wasn't getting better and she couldn't trust it to get better, honestly. she hated that she couldn't do anything to help him. she didn't want to be so worthless, but she really was. she couldn't even help one of the only people she really loved.
soon after she cut the hug and asked her small question, though.. her thoughts were ripped from her mind. his loud words made her cringe. gideon didn't know what to do. she never knew what to do in this situation, the only thing she really knew was that she couldn't tell anyone that this was happening. nobody could find out, because if someone did.. well, then emaroza would know, and then her relationship would be down the toilet. a lot of the time, she came to the conclusion that she deserved to be treated like this. he always seemed so convincing while he was screaming at her in the same angry voice he always did. she knew he was trying to stop, but sometimes.. she had to ask because she was either worried or because she wanted to know the truth. right now, she was terrifed, not because she believed he was actually hurt, but because he was angry with her. it wasn't something new, in fact, it occurred very often between them, and she still had no idea what to do about it. she couldn't go tell roza, in fact, she had to hide the bruises and the aches from the one person that had never hurt her in her whole life. it was hard, especially during the hot weather in los angeles when she wore long sleeved shirts just to hide them. she didn't like to, but she felt she had to in order to be able to stay with demetrius. she knew that roza wouldn't stand for it, and she would be forced to break up with him.
gideon had let go of his hand, now and was preparing to get hit. her tiny hands covered the back of her head as she cowered. "No. Why is it always about the drugs? You think every fucking day that I'm snorting cocaine!" "i'm sorry." "You know how hard I'm trying to quit. Yet each day you keep on accusing me." "i know, i'm sorry." "I accidentally got hit in the face with a ball that my sister and I were throwing around." she was on the verge of tears as he finished. what did he want from her? she was just worried about him. "i'm sorry." she managed to whisper it through all of his talking. she wasn't really interrupting him, just murmuring that she was sorry every time he finished a sentence. "Can't you just start a normal conversation without bringing up my flaws? I hardly ever bring up yours but your a constant fucking reminder of me." the words were like poison to her ears, venom slipping through his teeth. "i'm sorry." she was practically hyperventilating from fear. gideon knew that she rarely ever brought up his drug abuse problem, but obviously he didn't. he was making things up, but she just wanted to make it stop, or at least get the pain over with so she had a good reason to cry. "i'm sorry." she was barely able to whimper the words as he apologized to her. it wasn't something that never happened. in fact, he apologized to her a lot, though it wasn't nearly as much as she said she was sorry to him. she was still preparing for him to start smacking her around. he was the predator, she was the prey. it was nothing new. "i'm sorry." she was practically shaking as he finished his speech. gideon was terrified, and she knew she looked the part.

He noticed the fear in her big pretty brown eyes and her sweet voice. Demetrius let out a loud sigh and instead of striking her like he normally would, he reached out and hugged her. "It's alright. Calm down." He said in his normal voice his arm rubbing her back softly. He rested his head down on hers and just kept rubbing her back in order to make her feel better. Demetri knew he over reacted with the entire situation but he really couldn't help it. It wasn't him. After releasing her from his grip he sat down on the couch. His entire band was no where to be seen. They all went down to apple bees for half apps and drinks. That was their idea of a good time. Demetrius honestly didn't want to go out. He'd rather spend his day inside and get some time to himself and relax. He didnt mind spending it with Gideon though.
He took his hand and lightly tapped on his lap, signaling for her to come sit on it. Of course he was a bity edgy, but not as bad as he normally was. Today he was a lot more calm, because the second she said anything he would have slapped her right in the face. It was pretty damn sad how he treated this poor girl, but right now he was being normal and reasonable. "It just gets on my nerves, you know?" Demetrius said reaching into his pocket before she sat down. He pulled out his pack of cigarettes and grabbed the ash tray off the coffee table. He only smoked the best. Camel Crush was his favorite. He loved having the choice for either menthol or non menthol. He always thought it was such a cool idea to have an option by crushing the little ball inside. It was just pure genius and he didn't know how to describe it in any other way. Demetri put the ciggarette in his mouth after crushing the little ball in the cigarette. He grabbed the lighter from the pack and flicked it on. He lit it up and inhaled. Smoking was his favorite thing next to snorting. He had so many dirty habits that it wasn't funny. He just had a very addictive personality and that's why he never got into drinking. He was deathly afraid of getting a beer belly. He thought that was the most repulsive thing anyone could ever have. It was completely disgusting and it made most people look like revolting slobs. It was on his list of pet peeves like everything else in the world. The second thing that came on his list was dirty finger nails. Oh how much that bothered him. He loved being clean and keeping everything neat. His adoptive parents just taught him to be clean. His real parents obviously helped him have one trait, and that was the addictive one. Poor kid.
Demetrius really did love her. If only it was like sixth months ago when all he ever wanted to do was be with her and hold her. There was just something in his way. He just needed something to help him kick his dirty habit to the curb. He didn't exactly know what it was. But he did try to stop doing coke after loosing a ton of weight. He tried to stop and of course the withdrawl symptoms were a bitch. They made him feel sick to his stomach. He regreted even doing the drug after he figure out how sick he was without. Though on it he was mentally sick. But back to his love for Gideon. He was totally planning on figuring on how to make that Just The Way You Are song by Bruno Mars into the perfect cover for his band just for his girlfriend. His other band members agreed to it and it made him feel so good. Now, he could finally show her how he really felt without beating the nonsense out of her. He had to quit that shit soon.
His sister was onto the way he abused his poor girlfriend. She was always asking questions and she saw how Demetrius flipped out on her. Alexandrina just kept bitching at him, and when they got into fights, she'd take off her shoe and just start hitting him senselessly. Andie was sort of a bitch and no one could deny it. She wanted everything her way. She really loved Demetrius with Gideon but if she found out the truth she'd most defiantly kick the shit out of him. She was very against men hitting women because of her real parents. The whole thought made the girl sick to her stomach. Her stomach would do back flips every time. Anyways, smoking the cigarette really calmed him down. Each time he inhaled and exhaled he felt so much better about the situation. He was always still a bit tense but at least now he could control himself a lot better. After his cigarette burned down to nothing he put it out and didn't bother grabbing another one.
"I love you. I'm the one who should be saying sorry. It's just so hard for me." Demetrius smiled at her trying to show sincerity on his face. He really was, for now that is. It would be a new episode tomorrow or he'd just be craving the coke when he saw her and flip then out. He had to be one of the most annoying people when he was high on coke. He was just so energetic and annoying. He could never shut up and he was always rambunctious which was perfect for the concerts his band put on. But he was also unpredictable and sometimes fuck up a lot. Demetrius was like the JCraig of his band except he hadn't been kicked out yet and he wasn't as much of an asshole. Plus, Demetrius is just a drummer and he isnt as important as a lead singer.

gideon was just waiting now. waiting for him to scream at her more, waiting for him to start hitting her, something.. anything. anything to show what exactly she was going to get today. there were some days he was nicer to her than others, some days where he didn't hit her, but right now, it just didn't feel like one of those days. it hadn't even been five minutes and he had been yelling at her, and she didn't know how to handle it other than to just apologize a million times. she couldn't help it, that was how she had been taught to get people to stop being mad. apologize, apologize, apologize. sometimes, it worked. most times, it didn't even come close to working, though it was her first reaction. all she really knew how to do was say she was sorry. she didn't figure she was much good for anything else besides her music. she didn't really understand what she had done, she hadn't even finished her sentence, but it was easier to just say she was sorry and take the pain she was bound to go through. it was inevitable at this point in the night. if he was mad at her already, she was sure he would just grow angrier over the course of the night. sure, she didn't like getting hit, but that was better than being alone. she hated it, to be honest. she hated not being around him, even if he was hitting her or hurting her. that was a small amount of pain compared to other pains she'd felt.
the small girl flinched as her boyfriend reached out to her, expecting him to smack her or punch her, some kind of act of hatred. instead, his arms wrapped around her, which was a surprise to her. it wasn't often that her boyfriend yelled at her without hitting her before or afterward. after a few moments of confusion she realized that he wasn't going to hit her, her arms wrapping around him as tightly as she possibly could. granted, she wasn't very strong, but she was sure that demetrius knew that. without even realizing it, tears leaked out of her eyes as she buried her face into his chest. she didn't want to let him go, she wanted to be able to freeze time and be with him like this forever, she really did. it was so much better than what they usually did. he was hugging her and rubbing her back, something he hadn't done in awhile. part of it scared her for some reason, what if he was just trying to make her think he wasn't mad? right after the thought went through her mind, she scolded herself. she had to trust her boyfriend, who else could she trust besides him and emaroza? her tears stopped flowing almost as quickly as they started, she was just so happy and surprised that she had been over flowed with emotions. she could feel his head on top of hers, not that she cared. this was by far one of the best times in her week. there was no doubting it in her mind. this was better than meeting fans and performing. she felt so great right now, she couldn't even explain it.
after a few moments he separated himself from her and he made his way to the couch, plopping down. gideon couldn't help but smile at him, wiping the little tear paths from her cheeks as he patted his lap. before she could get to him, he pulled his pack of cigarettes out of his pocket. to be honest, she preferred him to be smoking than snorting. sure, neither were healthy for you, but the effects of him being calmed by his cigarette were much more desirable than if he was getting violent and edgy from cocaine. she could deal with the smell as long as he wasn't hitting her, calling her names, or screaming. she waiting for him to get done lighting his cigarette before sitting down on top of him, a leg on either side of him. this was more comfortable than using him as a cushion. her knees rested against the seat beneath them, her head resting against his shoulder. she missed this part about them, when she felt like he really loved her. "i know, i'm sorry." she was barely whispering as she murmured a reply to his question. it was sad how he treated her, and it was even sadder how she just sat back and took it like she deserved it. sometimes, demetrius actually managed to convince her that she deserved every violent action he made towards her, though many people would've argued the contrary. "i just.. i get worried about you." her voice was softer than normal as she closed her eyes, one of her hands sat loosely on his shoulder whereas the other hung out at their side.
gideon couldn't help but smile when he told her he loved her and that he should be the one saying sorry. it brought a sense of relief to her being even when she knew that that love wouldn't last. gideon never meant to irritate him, but she knew she did. "i love you too, deme." she said gently, kissing his cheek tenderly. "and, it's fine, as long as.. as long as you don't leave me." her voice was soft. there was just something about the thought of him dumping her that scared the living hell out of her. it scared her more than him beating her, and it scared her more than death or any of her other phobias. she would deal with the hurt and the mood changes if it meant she could say he was hers at the end of the day. that was all that mattered to her and it was all that would ever matter to her. quietly, she planted a gentle kiss on his neck. she knew what turned him on, and she knew that it had been awhile since she had actually put out for him, not that she really was now. she just wanted to show him that she really cared about him.
