Cons were beginning to take over the Pros of Evan's bad intentions tour experience, in fact, they were already a large shadow over them. Evan had never had this much bad luck within two weeks of his life, hell, he hadn't even had this kinda luck within years. It was like he was living through middle school all over again, except it was real life now - instead of clinging to lockers he was hiding in his tour bus. It was like he needed to be escorted everywhere he went. All over again. That's no exaggeration either; Ransom and Hayleigh told him to not walk alone too much anymore and were always asking if he needed to go anywhere when they were free. Not only that - but they got Gideon to agree to be with him when the other two couldn't. Last night though, Evan decided that he could go to Gideons alone and of course he ended up running into Mason. A repeat of the previous week occurred, this time Mason at least dropped him off at his bus. After the second rape ended he told himself that he wasn't going to tell anyone - not anyone except for his manager who would need to know for canceling shows and whatnot. He wouldn't tell Rory though - not a chance in heck. The only reason this happened was because he told him and Evan wasn't about to make that mistake again. He let his eyes wander, gazing around the bus and rubbing them, having just awoken once again. It was about six at night and he probably missed a show, but he would have regardless, it was just without warning this time. Evan ran his fingers through his hair and kept himself in the same position - laid down on the couch. No one was around and for that he was thankful because he didn't necessarily want to give an excuse right now as to why he was absent for the show. He wasn't sure what he was gonna tell Parker but he'd burn that bridge when he came to it. "And now back to our ADVENTURE TIME marathon!" The Cartoon Network channel announcer practically screamed through the speakers, waking Evan up a little bit more. He turned on his side and winced a little, his body a bit sore. Lenni frowned into the small mirror she held in her hand, the expression entirely out of place on her usually smiling lips. Almost all of her bubbly attitude had turned to worry in the past few days, what with the events surrounding Evan and Mason. It made her stomach turn just thinking about the sweet boy she considered one of her closest friends being tormented by this imposing, evil boy. If Lenni were to ever hate anyone, it would be Mason. Sighing, the dark haired girl placed the compact mirror carelessly into the backpack by her side and licked her slightly chapped lips. She would have to buy a chapstick at the next tour stop as hers had been MIA for about two days now. But that was the least of her worries. Right now, her main concern was Evan’s wellbeing; something which was getting increasingly worse as far as she knew. Bullying was one thing, but Mason and Noah – the Batman and Robin of evil – had gone way too far the moment rape had even crossed their minds. Lenni’s eyes closed as she tried to block the mental image that was building inside her head. She didn’t want to face that reality, not even in her own thoughts. When Evan had told her about the incident she had seriously considered marching right over to the Back to the Dead bus, banging on the door and giving those boys a piece of her mind. She certainly had the guts to do something like that, but she had held back, not wanting to make matters worse. The best she could do for now was keep Evan safe, not that she had seen him all morning. He had practically disappeared the prior evening, saying he had to run something to Gideon. She had fallen asleep in the van before he had returned and had not woken up until a few minutes ago when her cell phone had vibrated from inside her pocket. Sighing, Lenni looked down at herself. She was in the same clothes as the night before and her hair was probably a disaster of epic proportions, but she would deal. Lenni quickly redid the lacing on her shoes and slipped out of the van, untangling herself from a pile of wires she had called her bed last night. Once out in the sunshine, she pulled out her phone and quickly read the message. It was from Parker and he was looking for both her and Evan. Apparently, they had both skipped off of the Dream or Die set. Lenni felt her heart sink. It was one thing for her to go missing every so often – sometimes she slipped away to draw in some secluded spot and forgot to mention it to anyone. But for Evan to miss a set...her mind automatically turned to the worst and she practically leaped the few steps over to the tour bus, forcing a smile on to her lips, just in case everything was okay.
After giving a quick knock, Lenni tried the door to the bus and found it was open. She stepped inside and pressed her teeth down on her bottom lip to keep from yelling a greeting at the top of her lungs. Her eyes scanned the relatively dark bus and fell upon a pile of sheets and hair on Evan’s bunk and her fake smile turned into a real one as she walked over and sat herself by his feet. Just looking down at him, she could there was something a little off.
“Hey Ev,” she smiled at him warmly, “Did you sleep through the set?” She tried a small laugh, though it sounded a little strained as her mind was still conjuring up awful images and terrible assumptions. Her head turned for a moment, away from her friend as loud, comical music blared from the small television set. Lenni stood and closed it, the silence close to eerie, though that could have just been her own uneasy mind. Alright, so this post is tagged for Evan

Knock knock. Evan’s neck flicked backwards when the light knocking occurred, his eyebrows rising by the seconds that went by. Who the heck was coming to see him? A little part of him was frightened of the chance that it was Mason coming back for more. This part of him made himself scurry deeper under the covers, revealing only his messed up brown hair. He listened to the sound of his favorite cartoon but did not watch it – he felt it wasn’t necessary because the episode was one that he had practically memorized. Just hearing the words that the fictional and comical characters spoke set a mental image that was exactly what was displayed on the screen. He heard the door open and this alarmed him – he kept his shoulders tense and he was waiting for someone to say something – hopefully someone that he recognized. He kept his teeth clenched and grabbed onto the blanket, clutching onto it and keeping his face shoved into the pillow. Evan kept his silence and tried to calm himself down by just listening to the odd cartoon that still played, this failed him. Still with no sense of who was wandering the bus he wanted to cry, but right before he did he heard the very voice that he wanted to hear – Lenni’s. He was still tense, but in all honesty, that wouldn’t change until she calmed him down. He released the blanket and did not respond to her, not until a minute or two passed of awkward silence. He spent these two minutes struggling to find a comfortable position, his body sore from the previous night. He gave her a fake smile, a very obvious one too and bobbed his head up and down. “Um… yeah… I guess you could say that.” He muttered quietly, going to rub his head with his right hand but his shoulder hurt enough that he jerked it down again and ended up using the other hand to ease the back of his lower head and upper neck. “What about you?” His voice was quieter than normal and he had pink eyes – it was almost the same as when this last happened. As the silence between her and Evan grew longer, Lenni’s stomach grew more uneasy. It was completely justified to think the worst, but she couldn’t even imagine having to live through Evan’s nightmare once, let alone twice. A crushing guilt began to envelope her and she felt that she was at fault for whatever had happened. If she had been more careful, perhaps a little more watchful, then Evan wouldn’t be as upset as he so clearly was at that moment. Lenni licked her lips again, waiting for a reply. Her hand moved to pat Evan’s leg in a friendly and careful manner, just at the knee. She had always been rather good at making people feel safe and happy, but what did it matter at all if she couldn’t make Evan feel that way?
Even as the words tumbled from his lips, Lenni knew he was stretching the truth. She frowned as he flashed her an unconvincing smile and got back up on her feet, walking over to the small sofa on the other side of the bus. “It doesn’t matter about me,” she said softly, though her voice was naturally loud enough to reach Evan’s ears. Her eyes scanned the tiny living area for the worn out teddy bear she knew she had left here last night. Freddy had been her favourite toy since she was merely six, and while he was named after one of horror’s most gruesome villains he was super cuddly, soft, and comforting. After grabbing him by the fraying arm and adjusting his X-Men t-shirt, Lenni hurried back to Evan’s side and tucked Freddy next to him, not failing to notice how her friend’s movements were stiff and uncomfortable, as if he were in pain.
“Evan,” she began, her voice slightly tense and her fingers wrapping around themselves nervously, “Did...did they hurt you again?” The question was as gentle as she could possibly make it and while Lenni sounded sympathetic, inside there was a feeling she rarely felt; an angry bubbling, as if a fire had been lit under her heart and was making all her blood boil out and through her veins. Lenni absently moved a piece of stray hair away from Evan’s eyes, her motherly tendencies kicking into full gear with this given situation. She had always been an extremely protective person, but apparently it was not enough. Her mind was almost completely made up at that point. She would have to go have a strongly worded chat with Evan’s tormentors, but for now...
Putting a small, quiet smile on her lips, Lenni sat down once again, this time a little bit closer to Evan, her arm draping over his waist and grabbing onto his hand gently, lacing their fingers together to let Evan silently know he could tell her anything he needed to get off his chest.
